Follow along behind-the-scenes as a new Ford Mustang makes its journey through the historic Rouge Assembly and stamping plants in Dearborn Michigan. Starting as a 30-ton roll of steel, you’ll see body panels stamped on a 50-ton press, automated robots performing welding and fitting tasks, and countless other procedures along the 9 mile long assembly line. Assembly workers complement the narration with explanations of what their work involves and how they keep the assembly line moving. Archival footage and computer graphics are blended in to help describe the evolution of the assembly line and the manufacturing process. A truly interesting and educational video the entire family will enjoy! Available on VHS or DVD, approx. 31 minutes.
